Oh boy this should get interesting quick....Run whatever oil you like best. Personally I run 5qts 5w20 valvoline synpower and 1qt 5w30 of the same stuff. Add 5 qts and check the dip stick, continue to add little by little until it shows full.

Check out bobistheoilguy.com if youre looking for some good oil info. Not just "Mobil1 ftmfw, use royal purple its the best, etc, etc".

Supposedly there are results on the web somewhere showing an actual gain by using royal purple. I think the results were minimal. I've never gone searching for it as I honestly don't care if I gain another 10 hp from oil. It's not worth the price IMO.

Your egnine, your supercharger, but synthectics are more thermally stable for the amount of heat blowers generate over your conventional oil. Don't take my word for it, becaause I'm not a technician. (enter sarcasm)

. From what ive come across showing technical data..not just I use ___ its the best. Redline works extremely well in high heat apps.

As for the guy asking about royal purple I donno. Ive used it and wasnt too impressed but thats just my opinion. So far ive had the best results with the valvoline synpower.

Vortech recommends synthetic 5w30 or high grade SH/CF rated oil.

I was recommended 5w30 valvoline dino by MPH and Proline (the guys who built my engine) for use with a blower setup.

Honestly, you will be fine running pretty much anything either 5w30 or 5w20 as long as you aren't changing back and forth all the time between synthetic and dino and you are changing it regularly.
