+1 on the 15 qts, your pan probably holds 3-4 qts and the convertor is about 12" in diameter so that means it holds alot, plus what ever is in side the tranny and the cooler...all those things you have to take in to account when completely draining and putting new fluid in. i just did a 4r70w swap and what the techs told to do is fill it with about 7 or so quarts and drive it for a few minutes to get the system filled up and when done fill it up the rest of the way.....
