NOT REALY. QUESTION IS WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO WITH THE CAR EVERY DAY STREET OR JUST RACE
REMEMBER GAS IS EXPENSIVE
IF YOU WANT TO BUILD A MOTOR PUT IT ON PAPER AND SEE IF EVERYTHING WILL WORK TOGETHER. YOU KNOW WHAT HEADS YOU WANT, CALL THE MANUFACTURE AND SPEAK WITH A TECH, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU A COMBINATION THAT WILL WORK , CAM AND PISTONS THAT WORKS GOOD WITH THERE HEADS

10.5 is fine, many people do a PI swap that alone gives them that much CR and i've seen a few people swap in a 96-01 cobra shortblock on PI heads that yields nearly 12:1

it will be fine. if anything if you get crappy gas where you live and get spark knock you can always pull a little timing to get rid of it.

10.5 // 11.0 ratios are fine with high test gas. back in the day 11 to one was standard on many hig performanc OEM engines. BUt if you are thinking of adding a supercharger this is was to much you waant an 8.0 to ration if ya go the route. High compression engines do have a nice tight sound to them.
