Question About Canton Rad. Tank

I bought a canton aluminum expansion tank, and it has two barb fittings on it, one by where the cap goes and one on the backside (which I assume is for the overflow). What is the other barb fitting for? And do I have to get an aftermarket cap for it?

Why'd you get a new expansion tank?

Looks better, holds more coolant. Mine had an awesome burn mark on it from a trouble light so i got the morso one.

No sir it ended Sunday, and I got the last one

I am thinking about selling it though to make a profit, but I can't decide if I want to or not.

They also had a new centerforce clutch for 150, and a billet frpp flywheel for 50, and some moser 31 splines for 150.

I love my canton tank, it doesn't really do anything more than the stock one, but it looks awesome haha

Its an old picture when I was non-intercooled. I think I might get the canton power steering tank to match. http://www.cantonracingproducts.com/...ucts/77232.jpg

I'm assuming you have to get a new cap too?

Yeah, the original tanks use a screw on type cap where the canton tanks use the ones where you have to press down and turn to lock

Coolant level sensor

I just bought the Moroso Tank and I'm not sure what to do with the coolant level sensor on the stock tank. What did you guys do with this? I don't want to see the dash light light on forever.

Bump!

Anyone got any ideas on how I can either install the coolant level sensor in the aftermaket overflow tank, or disable it?

Thanks!

You can more than likely disable it in your tune.

I think my alternator might be in the way with that tank because of the TFS intake inverting it to allow for straight larger runners. But I like it.
