Gears and full exhaust. (You can skip headers if you can't afford it) CAI are overrated.

I would go with gears and full exhaust ( mustangs are wonderful with exhaust and it adds power)

Not personally, but there is somewhat of a science to the gear install, and it is easy to F them up if not done correctly. I swapped my gears myself. Did a lot of research first, bought some specialty tools and went to town.

It sucked but I am more than happy with them now. They are meshed perfect too. I was scared to death I was gonna mess something up, but its nothing more than a series of steps. Perform them in order and correctly, and there's nothing to worry about.

Are you having issues with your gears? If so, whats up.

I hear that the motive gears are more likely to wine...or for that matter, anything other than FRPP

I've heard similar rumors, but I've also heard people on here say they have Motive gears with little to no whine.

How do you get that? When I ran that run I had a busted trac loc stock gears and suspension and it had over 138k on it. I walked it the first 100ft leaving off idle. Also it was only the 4th run I have ever made at a drag strip?

Because it says you ran the 1/4 in 8.4 @ 92mph. That time with that speed just didn't make sense to me.
