the frpp c-springs and the eibachs are a 1.25 drop. the bbk springs were installed on a 98 gt and did one on a 97 cobra and they were about 1.5 and both cars had 18 inch 95 cobra r wheels with 245/40/17's all the way around.

You can get away with a 2" drop. I know a guy with a Stang with 18" wheels and a 2" drop all the way around. 2.5" may be pushing it. I wouldn't go past 2".

I have 18's on my car and I have the steeda comp springs and they are just perfect IMHO...2.5 inches is going to make you have all kinds of issues...
I feel sorry for you beuase your car is going to be an alighnment nightmare if you go with 2.5 inches all around... Go with some Eibach Sportlines if you want a good drop (2 inches) and they will make you very happy... |

if you drop down that far, it would be wise to invest in caster camber plates.

Then a eibach prokit is perfect. That's 1.5" all the way arund. You'll have no problems with that and 18" wheels.

Well in that case where are some cheap set of springs I know people get name brands for cheap but where at? I'm also installing new shocks and getting my car tuned finally to harness all these mods I have but I wont take my car to the shop till I get springs so they can do it all at once!

Ebay...
BTW Sportlines are great...I would go ahead and get some cast and camber plates in the near future though...You can do without but it will be alot nicer to have cast and camber plates... |
