I like the 00R hood better too. The edges are a little more round than the 95, and it's got a little bit of flare with the vents. Nothing wrong with the 95, that looks good too but I just think the 00R is Ubersexy

If you're not into the vents then the 95 R hood is the way to go. It still looks damn good

It just depends what brand of hood you get. Some are functional heat extractor vents but some are closed off in the rear. If the vent is non funtional you can always dremel out the material and make it functional. That's what I plan to do if the 00R hood I get comes with closed off vents

I thought about that but would be worried about structural issues. I guess you could just drill some holes but that would look ghey. If it came from the manuf with the vents open I assume they would have given the strength some consideration.

The strength isn't going to be compromised. People cut out the vents on hoods all the time. There should be structural "cross members", just make sure not to cut those

Install it when is is very warm( warm in oven if necessary) then use double-sticky tape. Mines been good 3-4 years now

i got the cervinis 95 cobra r hood. having that and a few other things done by mrt in plymouth, MI. should pick it up monday! i think that hood looks bad a** on my 04 gt vert.
