You don't have a clutch master. All '79-'04 manual transmission mustangs use a clutch cable.

should i get a new factory brake master cylinder or are their any aftermarket ones that will be better for hard driving ????

I know they have clutch cable but the pedal has a part that goes into the master cylinder through the firewall. I dont know what it does either i didnt think the master cylinder was involved at all with the clutch. but it is. ??

we have a cable that engages/disengages the clutch...there is no type of fluid involved. Sounds like a master cylinder problem to me...unless you have a mechanical oil pressure gauge in the car and the line leading to the gauge decided to give up

What color is the fluid? If you have brake line leak than your brake pedal should be spongy and or go all the way to the floor, hows the brake fluid level, test the stopping of your car, if it doesn't stop in a straight line, then you found your prob. Brake fluid is clear by comparison to power steering fluid. Just FYI

its coming from where the clutch pedal is going into the master cylinder? their is a metal rod connected at the end of the pedal it has a boot around it and their is break fluid coming out of it.

dude. the clutch does not go to the master cylinder.. the clutch pedal connects to the quadrant which is actuall kind of right above the brake pedal, and this is where it passes through the master cylinder. Your master cylinder is actually right above and behind the firewall in respect to the clutch pedal, but the clutch has nothing to do with the brake fluid or fluid at all.
