Well, I talked to the mechanic and he said that *obviously* I'm going to have to get a new fuse box and that its going to run me about $800-$1200 and that he needs to pull out my dashboard and get a new wiring harness for the fusebox. Does this sound about right? I know when I got the pony from the previous owner, there was a LOT of wiring issues. I took it to my mechanic and and when the fuel pump was failing and he found that there were wires spliced into the fuel pump and AC control box. (something like that) So this mechanic that my car is with right now said that my car's wiring looks like a rat's nest right now and just to top it off none of my cigarette lighters work.

Sounds logical to me. Hope it works out. Wonder why your wiring is so horrible?
