So there's cars that are(or have) putting down 300 rwhp with full bolt-ons? Can you get me a link to any of them I'd like to check out they're setup.

I've yet to see one w/ stock shortblock, stock heads, and stock cams make 300rwhp.

on a 2v no, but the highest i seen was a P.I. swap GT w/ full bolt-ons making 275rwhp no cams no head work. to get to 300rwhp you will need more than just bolt-ons on a 2v.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say there is no way in hell full bolt on's are going to give you 80 RWHP. I'd say you're going to need heads, cams, or high compression pistons or a combination of these things to get you to 300 rwhp

cams and full bolt ons should put you damn near 300hp. But cams are pretty much a must!

But what are your deffinitions of full bolt-ons? I'm talking cai,tb,tb and/or plenum spacer, upper plenum and/or intake manifold, maf, ewp or Stewarts wp,lt's,o/r h or x-pipe,cat-back,udp's,tuner,aluminum flywheel, aluminum ds and light weight wheels. Has anybody ever had a combo like this and has it been on the dyno?

bolt ons are whatever can be bolted to the engine, (headers, intake exhaust, etc.) head work or cams you need to go inside the engine to do and are not considered bolts. I have full bolt ons and dyno'd at 261/299 at the rear wheels

See that's what I don't get my car put down just 5 less hp and made the same torque as your car and I'm not full bolt-ons. I'm still running the stock manifolds(both intake and exhaust),stock maf, stock cat-back,stock ds,stock flywheel and stock wheels. That's why I don't understand why they can't hit atleast 300. You figure 5hp for a cat-back,15 for headers,10 for an aluminum flywheel,5 for a al ds,5 for an intake manifold,1-5 from a better maf and 5 from reduced rotating weight with light weight wheels and that'd be right at 301

F8L in your opinion are headers worth the hassle for the amount of power they free up?

i had my motor rebuilt, bored .020" over, with full exhaust, udp's, tb/ plenum, JLT cai, and i only made 275 hp/ 310 tq with a good tune. haven't dynoed with the aluminum ds yet, but seems kinda pointless...

technically that will only free up some power thats already there, not add more.

under construction: CG fab hotside, Precision turbo, E85, lots of weight reduction, and a stock longblock.

ummmmm no you will see MAYBE 5hp from a catback, 10-15 for headers, none from an aluminum flywheel, none from an aluminum ds, none from a intake manifold (depending on which one), none from a MAF, and none from reduced rotating mass. where are you getting all this stuff from?
