mmr has good products, but they are slow in customer service. i emailed them a while ago and it took two weeks to get a response. i placed an order with them and they did a great job, even called me to confirm. i've had good luck with them so far.

most places take phone calls more serious and they have ALOT faster turn around time with phone calls. Like i said, They helped me out a TON and Mark gave me a GREAT deal to earn my business over getting my rotating assembly from DSS. For that, I have got them a couple other shortblock sales.

The amount of sales I have made for them over the last 4 years has to be alot. I told them back in the day that spent a lot of time on several forums my car domian has 100's of thousands of hits and I would promise to promote their product if it was good. I opened threads with pics and how to's at several websites etc.

That's why I got my mod 900 sb for only 2799 with the upgraded bolts, notched pistons, and their high flow pump with cyro gears. 31xx after shipping across country.

I received a really good deal on my AIS water/methanol injection kit. I got the progressive controller and TRI nozzle upgrade for free and about a 75 dollars saving on the stage 2 competition trunk mount kit.

the off the shelf name brand stuff is going to be the same as any place. as for their name brand stuff, eh, i would think twice on some of them. they by far are not the best priced place to get stuff, thats for sure! and their customer service isnt that damn great.

4+ years of constant abuse and it still puts out the hp like it does, they built mine like a rolex. Where did all that materail go when I melted several spark plugs or when I rethreaded the spark plug holes with heads on( I did pack the flutes of the threader and used a shopvac? Yet it still keeps puttin out the power dosen't use oil etc. I will always go to them for my SB builds. I couldn't have asked for it to perform any better. When I first got it I ran it with stock heads intake and blower cams. at 12.5 psi it put down 515 avergeged 124-125 traps and one 130.69 in cold air a track low in elevation. I contribute that to a well built and balanced SB. I have well over 25k of hard miles on it.

I only had a problem w/ there shippng. I shopped around a long time. They were the only place that was best priced and used brand new blocks and cranks. Plus they only do modular motors.

I have no doubt in my mind that this long block is going to far exceed what I am expecting, but for me to place my order in Jan. and it is April and not have it yet, I am getting very unpatient. I am going to call and hound them all week til I get my answers, and maybe see if Mark will drop the price a little bit.
