Problems with MMR??

I know I have heard really good things about MMR's products, but has anybody had any problems with their customer service, or them taking forever to get an engine shipped to you. I place my order back in Jan. for 950 longblock, and it has supposedly shipped to me like three times, and come to find out it is still at their shop right now.

Just wandering if this has happend to anybody else, or if I was just unlucky.

Haven't had experience, but have friends that have had the experience. They are a little slow, and they don't seem like they ever wanna talk to you.

I seem to be hearing more positive things about them lately. Like 75% positive, 25% negative. It used to be more like 50/50

Same situation here. Wasnt a shortblock or anything big but had the same problem as far as customer service/slow shipping goes. Ordered a solid lifter that I needed pretty quick, after 2 phone calls and saying oh itll be shipped this day, itll be shipped this day I just went and got an oem one and welded it to make it solid. About 3 weeks later the one from mmr finally came in the mail.

There customer service is bad. I am one state away from them and it took two weeks to get my adapter plate for my manifold from them.

I had a great experience 4 years ago when I ordered my short block. They were small then now they have grown. As far as pricing they used to have the best prices on quality built short blocks. I dealt with the owners themselves and one of them hand built mine. Now they have lots of helpers.

I bought the 900, with upgraded bolts, their oil pump, notched pistons, shipped from CA to WV for 3200 with in 3 weeks from ordering.

Well I am glad I am not alone in the shipping and customer service thing. I was dealing a lot with Phil, who I think was their customer service manager, and then got ahold of Mark, who told me that Phil was fired for poor service, and he assurred me that the engine would be out of there by this past Monday, but no news. I am really frustrated with them, and hope this is one HELL of a motor for all this waiting and beating aroung the bush I've been through.

My rotating assembly was an exelent buy and I recieved it quick. They just acked up my ARP studs and the 16 year old kid who answers the phone doesnt know anything about there products. He always has to put you on hold and go ask someone.

I live 10 minutes away and they are slow as shit. Took like 2 or 3 days to get my exhaust. But yea some if not most are overpriced. They're helpful if you actually can go in and physically talk to them tho
