PI intake nipple!

Ok so basically i had trouble with the nipple on my stock ALL PLASTIC intake manifold the nipple on the back basically leaks water when i accel too fast and today i was calculating my 0-60 and slammed it down and when i got home i saw a pretty distinct trail of water. thank god i have not put coolant in it yet or that would be very bad.

Anyways i just wanted to know that since iam leaking water and i do need to purchase a new intake manifold what parts will i also need i hear you need thing like new gaskets so on and so on but i just wanted a good list \.

theres one on AM but its kind of unclear because the parts list section has some things and the actual write up has other things added so anyway any help will be appreciated.

its the place on the back right of the intake manifold that connects to the heater hose or what i think is the heater hose its right next to the coil cover by the passenger side closest to the fire wall

just looked at a pic of a PI intake, if that nipple is leaking it should do it all the time since the coolant is under constant pressure. Are you sure thats where the leak is coming from??

Ok so basically the first two are the broken nipple and the last pic is what the hose looks like attached. sum old mechanic broke it before i think i do know that its been like that since i have had it but we clamped it down nice and tight till the other day when i was testing my 0-60 and it popped off.

basically just want to know what all ill need while Iam down there just to have a good list of replacement parts, such as the hose in the valley of the block, and new o-rings for the fuel injectors (because Iam sure they are crappy right now), and gaskets for the manifold basically stuff like that?

Drill and tap it to the correct size for a brass fitting. Then when you put it in use an epoxy compound to seal it and let it dry 24 hours before filling it up.

^ dont do that, not with the plastic and under the pressure of the cooling system. Your hold hoses should be fine. You should just need an intake and gaskets may even be reuseable since they are oring style, but you could also pic up a set just incase

I have modified explorer intakes several times that way and all have held up for years. I was drawing a blank on the name of the stuff I used. It was a jb-weld brand epoxy, but not the standard jb-weld. It was rated for plastic more than steel. Black and gray package, I don't have one here to get the exact name.
