vortech first start video!

First star with the vortech running. Can't lie it soudns awesome but the install was a slight pain in the ass because I had pretty much zero help and have never done one of these before. But it soudns and feels awesome. Just got to get my exhaust leak fixed so I get an accurate AFR reading on my wideband and can get the tune worked out. It already broke down once again because the fuel line keeps coming off the fuel pump inside the tank

No a focus pump

I just dropped 57 bucks to have the proper gates hose express mailed since nobody in Alaska has it. Guy told me the hose they had was submersible and 300psi rated but better safe than sorry.

lol I can't type today. Or any day! I have tried 5/16 fuel injection clamps from napa and even a normal band clamp and the connection won't stay on. The end on the fuel hat has stayed just fine with the fuel injection clamp!

Maybe true 2 hose clamps? I am sure someone with a Focus pump will chime in

I thought about that. Yeah it's directly on that nipple. I just wonder if I can have the nipple flared out a little so the clamp has something to bite. Then again it may be my use causing the problems. The blower sounds so sweet cruising around. Only was able to get on her one time and I pretty much didn't know how to react lol. It felt like a whole new car!

Will be the third time total I have had this damn tank down. Hey scott I just got to looking at the ford GT pump and it has a barb on the nipple.

Sounds awsome man. Yea the fuel hose is a pain in the ass. Mine kinked the first time. The car totally fell on its face at like 3800rpm. But I did the GT pump. Hope you get it fixed soon, when do you plan on getting dyno'd?

He typed tart and star - he can't type for sheot but the SC sounds very nice!

Shaun I can't get dynoed till I PCS to my next base because I am in Alaska. But I am using a wideband and data logging and stuff to have someone tune it for now. Scott there isn't one on the focus one. Did you do a focus pump? Did you run the hose to the plastic nipple on top of the basket where the stock hose was? Did it fit over both barbs? My hose would only barely go over that first barb...hopefully the new gates hose will!
