Well we'll start at the beginning. With the car secure, IE on jack stands, have you put the boots to it?

You can use a sledgehammer as well. Hit the back of the tire at first, taking care not to hit the rim or backing plate... or your taint. Hit it firmly. Not with 'HOLY FUCK I'M GOING TO SMASH THIS SOCKSUCKER!!!!!" force, just firm hard blows.

Firm.

Hard.

Blows.

And rotate the wheel as you hit it.

Just lower the car and let the weight of the car itself do the work. With the lug nuts off of course.

Lose the 2x4 and use a sledge on the tire. Not the rim, the tire. Both the inside and outside. Of the tire.

Note: NOT the rim.

You could also spray some pb blaster into the lug holes and wait about 2 minutes before you hit it.

I would do that but the tire isn't attached to the rim at all. I spun out last night cause the damn rain/ bald tires and it ripped the tire right off the rim

No heat, fill the tire as best you can and beat the hell out of it front and back, side to side a few times. If you got a flat, you could go with plan B. Put air in the tire, spray it with soapy water and look for bubbles. Mark the spot some how, and use a tire plug kit to take of the leak with the wheel still on the car (did that a few times). If you don't trust the jack, get some blocks of wood and put them under and drop the car on to them so that the tire is still off the ground.

If you have an impact gun, put the lugs nuts back on and then take them off again. that has worked for me before. When you do get the wheel off, sand the face of the rotor where the wheel sits and use a VERY SMALL amount of brake grease to help keep it from happening again.

+1 on the PB spray in the lug holes. You should also try to spray between the rotor and rim if you can.

It'll come off eventually. I would pick up the pb blaster over the wd40 honestly.
That crap works like a charm.
Do you perhaps have a power washer?
Odd as it sounds the water pressure could free it up.

Mine just took 2 year old oil base paint off of concrete today.
