Those that have gone before me
I'm just about finished up with my gear swap. I'll post all about when it is final.
Anyway how far off was you speedo from stock and what rpm change did you see? I don't have my tuner yet and was wondering how to compensate for the higher rpm/speed till I get my tuner.

rpm change? would depend on what gear...and same with the speedo
i have a 28" tire with 4.10's and its calibrated for a 26" tire with 4.10's and its about 5-6mph off

when i had my 3.73s in, at 60 my speedo was 10 mph off. so figure a little more than that with 4.10s

I guess I should have included the details.
Stock wheels and tires and went from stock gears to 4:10's with stock 5 speed manual tranny.

The calculator I found on the web confirmed that.
So If I was running 2500 rpm at 75 mph in 5th gear now I should be 2500 rpm in 5th at about 65 mph - right?

I do so I'll have to get it out and do a confirmation. It is very old from back when I was into boating. It still works but it is not like the new ones.
