parachute mount
been looking for a chute mount for the car for little while, but i cant seem to find but a few. do all of them require cutting the rear bumper? i'd rather not cut up my smoothed termi bumper, but i guess i might just have to. if i do, i am glad i havent laid the paint on it yet.

150mph traps are pretty fast, not to many street cars can do that.

even the skinny kids race cars still have to mount thru the bumper.

the only ones i have ever seen are to cut a hole in the bumper, there is one a parachute_mounts that is only a little hole looks better than some i have seen on other cars, even though you dont wanna cut your bumper.
Oh and another thing i dont know about tech but could you have a one built for it that doesnt use the cutting the bumper like someone that does cages or other GOOD work, and just get it certified like a roll cage?? ( just a thought dont know if its even possible)

Just pick up another rear bumper for when you run to the track or use your old one if you still have it.

that would be annoying as hell, having to take the rear bumper off, there is a couple of bolts that are a bitch and i wouldnt wanna do it every time before i go to the track and mount another one back on then do it again. IMO

i wont be going 150 thru the traps, but i will be close enough that the track i go to will probably ask for me to get one. the track i like to go to dont really have the longest shut down length either. if all goes well, i will need it for sure next year. as for the bumper, that is just more hassle than i want to deal with. i will be doing enough to swap out everything for the track as it will be, but i have thought about it if i cant get around it.

are these expected times with a new setup? Not that i doubt you, just dont see a 4.6 with even a 400 shot needing a chute. lol

You'd get laughed out of my local track with a chute on a car that didn't require one
