PPRV Delete guys come in...

If you did a PPRV delete on a focus pump did you have any trouble getting the fuel hose over the plastic nipple on top of the basket that has the two barbs on it? Mine would only go so far then it blew off in the tank. Tried going directly to pump and blew off there too because there is no barb or anything on that nipple. Pictures would help too. This is the third time I am having to drop my tank and the second time the hose has blown off. Luckily both breakdowns were less than a mile from home!

what hose are you using? what size?

if the pump nipple is smooth than going straight to pump won't work well so you may be forced to go to the connector. Does it have a barb(been to long to remember)?

The GT pumps had a little lip on the end of the nipple on the fuel pump connector. I have no idea about the focus pump though. Never had any problems with my hose blowing off.

No barb on the focus pump so looks like I am back to using that plastic nipple on the cap. Will see if my new hose fits it when it comes in!
