your springs are going to hurt you a little also. Little word of advice, incase you dont already do it, disconnect your front sway bar at the trac. It will help with weight transfer. Especially with lower springs since they are already hurting a little

Congrats man.

By far the best suspension mod done was air-lift bags in both rear springs. Great buy for any lowered car. It will raise the ass end up 2-3" fully inflated.

Nice talking with you Kmelfi.

You either have aftermarket cams, a stroker, or a ragged-edge tune (even that would be virtually impossible) with that amount of horsepower and torque. FYI stock PI cams have NO lope, so if your car lopes even a little bit you've got aftermarket cams.

I've got the timeslip in my pocket. I tried to upload it but the file is too big.

what were you shifting from 1-2 at? and the rest of the gears? pretty sure i asked this before but forget.

My car has baffled a lot of people, it some how continues to pull up top (almost 107mph). the first dyno run with bolt ons and diablo hand held tune it had 27x rwhp (running lean), but if it had cams with a diablo tune thats not for cams woudlnt that have caused a problem? Over the weekend ill do some investigating, picture taking and post up what i can to get some ideas.

what would be the best way to find out if it has cams? without taking anything apart.

Thanks guys.

One thing I've learned to appreciate for myself is that tires/gears/suspension is every bit as important as the motor/power mods when it comes to lowering your ETs.

Almost as important.

I have a arthritic condition and I ran a 11.2 @128 on 17" MT Series II Street Radials on heavy dd 10.5" wheels. I was running a stock 5 speed and a completely stock suspension. I have suspension mods now and my 60's have went down a little things need adjusted I think.

Plus I make more power now. No matter what suspension/tire mods you put on a stock 99-04 Mustang GT car will it do low 11's. Big difference between a high and low eleven. Even on sumitomos I did a 11.7 with a 2.3 60' lol. This all at 515 rwhp.

But I will agree the buck for buck on a budget that tires and suspension will show better results.

Again great results and driving on that run.

Well, your mph indicates that you have the capability to run faster given the proper gearing and suspension setup.

Guys like us that are breaking into the 12's at only 104mph must use suspension, tires and the driver mod to get there, it's not a given with only 256rwhp, which is what I had when I broke into the 12's.

Right on Jive and Bullit!

Now it's time to get a blower or nitrous to put the tires and suspension (and my driving) to the test once again!
