At what rpm did you shift into second gear?
With those cams I'd guess around 6200 would work to avoid bogging in second gear, but that's just a guess.

yea thats about what i was shifting at, maybe i can take it up to 6400, but thats after i get tuned...im guessing with a short throw shifter, plenum, maf with injectors, and some weld with skinnies ill be in the 12's

i see you ran a 12.9 at 104....im trapping at 106 so im not that far from 12's....i was on 18's

I had to run a 1.75 60' to get into the 12s (which I've only done one time BTW LOL!). The big 'n littles help alot.
I noticed that if I don't rev it out in first gear I fall on my face in second gear.

all you have to do is go with 24lb injectors... maf wouldnt do anything for you

why not?? thats what i was going to do maf calibrated for 24 or 30lbs since im going to get the juice soon(nitrous)

i know with the big'n'littles i can pull out a 1.70 60', i feel like the 18's are making my car feel wierd when i shift into second, too heavy
