Nah run a CAI not a RAI. With a cold air i get ~100-108 degrees at wot. If it was sucking in 200+ degree air, and then compressing that you are asking for trouble.

thanx for the info... i have just had some trouble with the bootleg plastic tubes from the kb cai with unmetered air sucking in. ive just been looking at other options

I just bought a KB and had a 2v JLT, what I did is just bought the 45* going from CAI to TB from JLT its only $25 on their website and worked like a charm. I kept my MAF in the same location and went with a SCT BA2400 it was a bit of a pain to finess into the system but it does work. and looks great
