Blower through the hood
Anyone got their blower sticking up through the hood? I'm interested in how it looks on our bodystyle.

search on google for lightning swapped mustang. Thats about the only blower you will get through the hood

I did the google search but got tired of looking - obviously my search was not what I was looking for so I posted the question to see if any members running it that way.

whipples dont fit 2v. The only other one that will stick out is the torque tech kit, but the only part that will is the snout and pulley

330cubegt has his 5.4 sticking out the hood. Most blowers are designed to fit under stock hoods, which most people like. Cuts down on the expense. The only things that really don't are 5.4s because of the taller block, or an adapter system (like F8L said with the Tork Tech kit) that raises the blower up.
My cobra engine with the eaton isn't going to clear my stock hood, but the only part that doesn't is the top of the pulley. The IAC might hit too, I'm not sure. I'm just gonna get a cowl hood though.

not a fan on how a lighting blower looks sticking out of the hood, but if you run 4v heads, this would be the look for a blower out of the hood lol

The new blowers are just not the same as the old carburated roots blowers. They were impressive.

The pulley and front of the blower will stick out a little if you choose to cut a stock hood with a 2.6, 2.8, 3.6 Kenne Bell. And a whipple will go on a 2v, if you use the tork tech kit to bolt it on.

That thing is gigantic. Is that carb'd though? It looks like two carbs sitting between the air cleaner and the blower
