As long as you get wheel spacers to fit the stock wheels, the wheel spacers will fit the stock wheels. LOL

I'm confused by your question. As long as you get spacers that are 5x4.5" (114.3mm) they'll fit your hub. Just dont' get too wide or your tire will rub the outer wheel well

They probably say that because they don't want you to push a stock wheel out too far, so they tell you to use them with aftermarket wheels that have different offsets. They'll work fine with a stocker unless you go with some stupid big size

Well this is a copy and paste from AM

Design: Hub centric
Center Bore: 70.5mm
Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5" (5x114.3mm) to 5x4.5" (5x114.3mm)
Spacer width: 25mm (0.99")

Note: These Wheel Spacers are specifically made for aftermarket wheels and will NOT fit stock factory wheels.

That is a 1" spacer and will work with an OEM wheel on your car

I am not a fan of such spacers and think you would be better served by getting wider wheels to get the look you like. More expensive, but fat meats is where it's at

I'm confused by your question. As long as you get spacers that are 5x4.5" (114.3mm) they'll fit your hub. Just dont' get too wide or your tire will rub the outer wheel well
1" spacer "adapters"(those which bolt on to your hub, then the wheel bolts onto the adapter), will not fit stock wheels. WILL NOT FIT STOCK WHEELS.

What happens is the bolts from the hub will run into the wheel before you can bolt it down all the way to the adapter. To try and paint a picture in your mind, look at your 5x4.5 pattern.

It kinda looks like this:

Imagine your studs in the middle of each round end, now take and put the spacer over the hub, and you'll have the spacer studs sticking out in the middle of each rounded end. And the hub studs will be protruding since they are longer than 1" thus running into the wheel.

Jazzer man, I think I've got you on this one

EDIT: Sorry if this doesn't make any sense, I've had a buncha beer this afternoon. But the info is right

*DOH*

I forgot about that part of it and just figured that AM didn't want pepes to install them and want to return them due to rubbing of tires. They will work, if one cuts the ends of the OEM bolts so that they don't protrude past the spacer itself.

Either way, I am still a fan of a wider wheel (The Jazzer says, more MEAT!) or replacement longer/stronger lug-bolts such as the way I have installed my own 1/2" spacers.

Jazzer

EDIT: some wheels have a recessed area that will allow these studs, so even though OEM wheels may not work, some others will

Its alright Jaz. But you are correct, some wheels have recessed spots behind the wheels. You CAN chop some off the studs, but I don't think its much worth it considering spacers on stock wheels is kinda ghetto anyways.

Judging by his sig pic though, hes got stock lil 16" wheels, and +1 to the meat!
