Paint code and factory options?
How can I find out what options my car came with from the factory. I know gm uses rpo codes? I would like to know paint color and stuff? I tried to vin search with no luck

Look at the vin tag in the driver side door jamb. Thatll give you your paint code. Then youll need to chip it for variances. It will also give you the codes for read end, trim, trans, etc.
edit: No need to chip it if you have a solid color...Black,white,etc. Generally speaking you can panel paint those colors and theyll match as good as youd like. Last edited by ajm; April 7th, 2010 at 11:58 PM. |
