Cobra Supercharger on a GT???

I want to put a supercharger on my 03 GT but don't have alot of cash right at the moment. I was checking ebay and found this listing for a stock 03 Cobra supercharger:

03-04 Mustang Cobra supercharger Assembly Eaton M112 : eBay Motors (item 130380934939 end time Apr-12-10 15:59:00 PDT)

My question is, will this fit and work on my 03 GT??? Is there any other parts I would need to make this fit and work??? I don't know much about how these install so any info would be helpful.

This post has been posted atleast 3 times in the last 8-10 pages...

You need a kit from tork tech...If you REALLY want the Eaton supercharger, look to spend a minimum of $3200 to get it to work with your GT.

And the price on the one in your link is ridiculous, you can get them for around $300.

Thanks for that BUT....

If you had looked at the ebay auction instead of assuming I was only looking at the blower you would see this also includes the lower intake manifold, drive assembly, pulleys, and sensors. In other words this auction includes ALL the things listed for the Tork Tech Terminator uprgade kit.

My questions is would that lower intake manifold fit onto my GT engine???

There are still a lot of parts you will have to buy, probably about $2000 new, less if you can find them all used.

The eaton is cheap, that's not the problem. The problem is getting all the stuff to make a 4v intake fit a 2v head. That's expensive, and don't forget about the new hood you have to buy.

IMO find a used KB

if you wouldnt assume like you know everything that is NOT everything tork tech includes. those are the lowers and pulleys for the 4v motor. you still need the 1900$ tork tech adapter plates (its not only a manifold adapter plate but a seperate pulley system), a heat exchanger, fluid pump, fluid reservoir, air intake, etc... but if your not gonna listen to anyone then YES thats everything you need. buy it and let us know how it turns out.

and do you really need to put 3 question marks in place of one on every sentence you ask a question???

He wasnt assuming anything, he was telling you what you would need. The only thing in that auctions that you can use is the heaton. The rest is for a 4v that will NOT bolt up to your engine so stop being an ass and listen to what people are telling you when they know what they are talking about

im new but I am trying to add some substance to this forum... haha. OP it would be nice if it was easy to bold up those 4v superchargers, but like EVERYBODY said above, its just not that easy. If it was, it would be more expensive, because everybody would be buying them for their gt's (law of supply and demand.)

Your best bet is to find a used centri or something. You can part a kit together these days for around $3500. But don't expect to get a S/C on a gt for ANYTHING less then that. Just not gonna happen (unless you get a STEAL on something)

under $2k? damn. I guess if you find a blue light special on every part you gotta buy haha

But I mean, I guess I can kinda see that... I got my t trim for about ~$1200, and that + fuel injectors + everything for supergerchargs online is about $2500. But you got to also consider a tune and stuff... nobody wants to run an untuned GT w/ FI haha.

I would say realistically then its closer to 3k... (that includes everything)

I thought it was $1500?

And add substance? I think we all prefer it to be peaceful in here, I was new about 2 months ago and I didn't go around acting like I knew every blessed thing about the Mustangs. I answered your question, stop being a dick, and listen to what we tell you.

For absolutely everything you need off of the Termi that will work on a GT, will ONLY cost around $500 on ebay for a low mileage Eaton.
The lower intake manifold in that auction is for a damn 4v Termi. NOT a 2v GT...If the Termi lower intakes would bolt directly onto the GT's, Why the hell would Tork Tech take the time and money to invest in making an adapter for the GT?

Yep, you buy each individual part separately and don't buy the full mounting kit, piece EVERYTHING together and you can have you a new FI setup for $2200 including the dyno tune. (That's with a used head unit, obviously)

im telling you guys... I JUST parted together my vortech kit. I mean without seriously buying some used shit, you are not going to get away with anything around under $3k all said and done. I promise. Think about it. If you can put a S/C on ur car for $1500, think how many S/C mustangs would be out there..
