loud clanking once the car is heated up and driven for a while, when i make a turn lets say to park some where when turning i can hear the loud clunk like 3 times till i stop the car. IS THIS A SYMPTOM of the rear giving out?

If the clanking and clunking is coming from the back end what else do you think it could be genius? Midgets pounding on your trunk? When you drive like a jackass all the time of course your going to blow out a stock rear

Yeah I'm guessing a lot of people around here don't enjoy being called an ass pirate and won't help this guy out

@OP I've never seen you ask this question before, and I'm constantly on these boards...

Are you sure you asked on this board? I am not an ass priate, but I do enjoy a good rim job now and then.

Check your bushings.

Well he's usually a douchenozzle in the threads too. Most of them start out "hey ladies" or "hey broskies" or something like that. Not to mention he doesn't get back on the therads he starts to answer relevant questions that the experienced members here ask. Like in one thread lefty was asking about how the noise changed when he turned or accelerated, and the guy says "I think it's a wheel bearing"

ICIC, I just checked them out too. Grinding noises are a lot different than clunking, and are caused by completely different things. He needs to decide if his car clunks, clangs, grinds, whines, squeals, squeaks, etc and then when he starts off a thread not acting like a jackass we'll be able to help more
