LED Third Brake Light


ok so i got one and i wanted to know if i should put some silicone around the edges or not?

also it comes with this foam thing with a tape side on the back but i dont really know how to stick it exactly. anyone know how?

LED third brake light to replace old sun damaged one, shorty antenna, new PI Intake Manifold with aluminum crossover (my original was all plastic). Bosch Platinum 4 Spark plugs (awesome set)

What are you talking about? lol

1. should i put silicone on to keep water out or is that not needed

2. theres like this foam sticker tht comes with the new third brake light i want to know how to stick it on because its a weird shape

Put it on the way your old one was. If the old one had a foam weatherguard (I'm assuming that's the "sticker" you're talking about) then put that where the old one was. If the old one had some sealant around the edges, put some silicone around there.

lol k.. i kinda ment, too many mods for the 250 word limit. not too many mods that i cant remember them all not that crazy with the mods... yet.

I have one, just used the foam that came with the kit, seals fine, no water problems.. and I got mine from Ebay.. No need for silicone, especially don't use the silicone to contact the light housing to the body, it'll be a bitch to get off if you ever need to.

Haha, yeah I figured that's what you meant. You should update your garage so we can see what you're running though And I wasn't crazy about modding my car until I started getting on the boards more and more and seeing the other members cars... I haven't looked back since

Just updated it for ya! nothing to big in the mod department, just a few boltons ect. I've been on a few different mustang forums in the past too.. im just starting to get into modding more and more. i just spent like 1500 on visual, so im done with the outside for now! next up, is most likely gonna be a sct tuner. (oh and tint)
