so i had a nice day off today and cleaned up my car and also re-finished the wheels. (They are no longer Black)

^Very good eyes man! they arent black, they are a gun metal~ish color. my camera phone doesnt take such good quality pictures so its hard to see the true color.

^Well, when i swap'd my 4v over, the hood wouldnt clear the intkae manifold anymore...i dont have the pennies to blow on a hood so i bough a cheap ass stick on cowl hood, cut a hold in my stocker and molded it on there. it was kind of a 'for-now' thing but maybe it will grow on me and i will keep it.

Did you paint the wheels yourself? If so can you post up a quick how to. I have those same wheels but they are still polished. I would like to go black.

I may try that as well. I have a no scoop gt hood and from what ive seen from your gt makes me want to try it now lol.

yeah i did them myself. last summer i did them black and then this year i changed the color slightly.

its real easy to do. what i did was get some red Scotch Brite pads and scuffed up the entire wheel (front, back, all over. the whole thing needs to be done)
Next you will have to go to a good paint store (I always go to Napa for this kind of crap but advance auto, autozone and the like should have it too)
when you get there, get yourself 2 cans of gray Self-Etching primer. it has to be this kind of primer. this stuff really sticks to what ever you spray it on.
Now go to your local true value, ace, do it best hardware store. go to the spray paint section and find the rustoleum stuff. look for their appliance epoxy paint (this paint is some tough shit) get 3 cans of that. it takes forever to dry but it is damn good paint. i have not had any problems with it at all over the year my wheels were painted.

now go home and wipe the wheels down with prep-solv or paint thinner or rubbing alcohol or even brake cleaner/carb&choke cleaner will do.
spray a few light coats of the self etching primer on the wheels (Front and Back) until they are all evenly coated and gray. let them sit maybe a 1/2hr or so until they are good and dry.

now go to them with the epoxy paint. i put 3 good coats on my wheels and then a 4th dust coat to make sure everything came out nice and even. thsi paint shines up pretty good on its own so you dont need to clear the wheels if you dont want to. the gun metal paint i just did my wheels with was pretty flat so i had to clear them to get a good shine out of them. i always wiped my wheels down with WD40 when they were black to really make them look clean/shiney.

^Go for it. its a cheap alternative to a $500 aftermarket.
your hood will deff. work better for what i did. mine is a 99/01 cobra re-pop so it looks kinda funny to me with the scoop and then the little dip those hoods have in the middle.
i felt kind of...weird...wacking a huge hole in my perfectly good stock hood at 1st haha

Dude, usually i dont like stickers on stangs and im sure allot of guys would agree that its "ricey" but yours dosnt look bad at all. It actually looks good, not to overdone and the right color ones too. That side scoop pulls the look off too, that might just be it. Because I think if you didnt have the scoop it would look bad. but good job man !! +1

^It was difficult to pick out what stickers and sizes/where to put them. but i'm happy with what i arrived at. the only one i think that may be too big is the UPR on my passenger side quarter window. i always liked stickers down at the bottom. picking a good color to match is how to pull it off and this was a no-brainer what color to go with

Looks great man. Since your going with a bumblebee look (yellow and black) so to speak. I would tint the headlights and taillights along with the 2 side reflectors on the rear bumper, then paint the calibers screaming yellow. Just though
