[QUOTE=dcook_14;2776034]Ahhhh, that makes more sense. If the extra rims are smaller then I'd run the 275s on there for daily driving and then just swap on the 10.5 with the DR once you got to the track

Yeah.. That's prob what I'll do, or just put em on then drive to the track.

Yeah that works too. The newbs at the track will think you're cooler if you've got an extra set of wheels/dr's that you switch on at the track though

I don't know if it's the big cowl or the high ride height, but something looks off with that car

I know dcook has heard this before but my vis carbon fiber hood is about 10 lbs lighter then my old 2.5" fiberglass hood. It is easily one of the lightest mustang hoods I have ever felt.

well I know the underside or engine bay side is fiberglass and then a carbon fiber sheet is layed on top. Atleast when me and a friend tried to salvage his wrx c/f hood we took it apart and the top side was carbon fiber and the underside was fiberglass.

How long do fiberglass hoods last? I know ive seen some and they looked like they where cracking.

Thanks guys yeah she needs lowering bad!!! And dcook is right on the money it's 3" VIS carbonfiber painted to match.

It definitely draws attention! If I had to do it all over again I would go with this hood or possibly a carbon Cobra R hood?
At one point I had a KB 2.6 sitting in my garage and that's why I needed the clearance, then I got accepted into grad school and my income went bye-bye. So I sold the KB and currently cry myself to sleep on a pile of ridiculously expensive books

My entire hood is CF, they are tough as hell the only cracking you will have is the paint if its painted because the CF will flex but paint won't. I can't speak from experience but I believe that fiberglass hoods are quite a bit less resilient and may have cracking issues If I were you I'd go CF
