lets talk return style.....

Ok, i have a local member with a TT vette! VERY BADASS CAR! This is what he said for me to do in a PM from local forum... (seems pretty simple??)

I agree with your tuner, also. If there is a way you can add a fuel pressure regulator at the rails and boost reference it, you can then run a line from the regulator back to the tank. I have a walbro 255 pump, KB Boost a pump, and the regulator at the rails with the return line and im supporting over 700rwhp

Sounds simple enough and even "sounds" cheap enough. Any thoughts? Could i just copy a setup from a GM car like his?

I cant see it being a problem though....
would you have to rig the fuel rails to work with regulator?
Or do they connect before the fuel rails?

Either way if it works on one motor I cant see fuel pumps/regulators not being able to work on any motor. I assume how well it can be tuned....

Im just throwing thoughts out but I think it can work I see the wiring and tunning maybe a little hard but not too hard.

not sure you need to boost referece the regulator but yes it should be simple enough. I think the hardest part will be getting the fuel back in the tank. You will need to modify or buy a hat.

yeah i didnt think about the tuning part of it but a return style should make it way easier to tune, right? The fuel is just there vs. trying to get support from the pump.

I dont understand WTF! This shouldnt be a huge deal. My thinking is...

What do drag cars run? Seems as easy as this..... (am i wrong)

Big fuel pump with a line to the front of the car and one coming back for the fuel thats not used. I want to get away from mainstream shit that i just dont think is necessary. I cant see it really being that hard. If i have to, ill just delete my stock fuel lines and run new ones. Just seems odd that GM cars and all these imports dont have near the problem we do with fuel. If "local vette guy" is running 1 walbro pump on his 700rwhp TT Vette then WTF!? Seems like running one line to the front and one from the back will delete all the bullshit between it and make it run very efficient. Am i wrong or what?

You delete the pprv? With the pprv delete and a good tuner that issue is eliminated. And by good tuner i mean one that will spend time on it. There are many great tuners, that are also lazy hehe.

(and i am not saying returnless is better, but it is far from shitty. Return style is optimal).

Then it be your tuner. Or the other problem you are currently having complicating things.

Why dont you just steel the return setup from a 96-98 car? Then you'll have all the times and you can even steal there tank and put your fuel pump in

mainstream as in 2 gt pumps and just trying to make our stuff work. I would rather just run 2 new lines and just make it simple.
