novi budget put togher. help me out

so today i picked up a novi 2000 head unit bracket for 01-04 stangs with belt.. only things missing is fuel pump, air filter, and intercooler and the pressure side of the oil line. was a deal for 980 in good condition!

questions goal is 425-450hp with my 02 gt.

current mods. accufab tb and plenum, cat back and o/r x pipe.

plan mods, headers, stage 1 or 2 blower cams afm power pipe and a universal intercooler.

my goal is to tune myself with some time and afr gauge and some know how.
anyone have experience with this????. im confident in my patience and learning curve.

what fuel pump would be best for budget and reliability?

what maf? blow through or draw through?

what turner is most user able to help me tune this beast?

thanks

gt pump should work. not sure if you will need a BAP or not. wouldn't think so.

most people are gonna say blow through as far as MAF

Agreed on the GT Supercar pump. Probably your best bet. MAF I would say blow-thru. And tuner, go w/ whatever you like. Personally, I'd use Sniper Tuning Software.

There is a whole lot more to it than just adjusting a/f ratio. lots of people just the sct maf's like a ba2800 or something like that.

gt40/gt supercar pump

the sct line of mafs are pretty cheap and good, should do well for your budget build. Suck or blow through is up to you. The sct mafs will work in either configuration.

If youre really gonna do it yourself get an sct with the pro racer software/package. If youre gonna have it done somewhere get what they use.

You will need a GT, SVT Focus, or Aviator pump AND a BAP otherwise you will run out of fuel right about 425rwhp. If that is your goal on a stock block, you better do it with the help of some blower cams and not just a lot of pressure. Nice buy on the novi2000, it will have plenty of room to grow if you ever go forged bottom end.

The easiest MAF to tune will be the P-MAS HPX in their 75mm housing which converts to a 05+ slot style sensor, but you can get by at around 425rwhp with an SCT BA2400. What will you be using to tune the car with? When you get closer to having this thing built, PM me and I can help you with your spark tables and A/F to make sure you don't blow that bottom end like everyone is saying.

lol.

Fuel Pump - Id say Ford GT Pump. Or you could go with the 255lph and a Kenne Bell Boost a pump.

MAF - Blow Through with intercooler. SCT Big air is pretty good. I have a PMAS Pro-Tube which I like

Tuner - Idk where your from, but do some research. Youll find that out pretty easily if you ask around.

thanks for the help. ima look into the sct maf and pro racer software. its not that i want to tune for a budget but also to grow with me. im not up for paying 150 bucks every time i throw a mod on my car.. not to mention i like diy.

ima check on pulley size, it was an inter-cooled kit so i hope its a small size.
