To Pull the Engine Or Not To Pull the Engine?

This weekend me and a buddy will b installing LTs and a prochamber on my car. Originally I was planning on dropping the K member and takin all that shit off and installing them from underneath the car BUT started thinkin about renting a cherry picker and pulling the engine out of the car. Which do u think would b easier? If someone could give me a 'how to pull a engne' write up that'd b great.

search on modular depot's forum, there was a girl who did a write up on there how she pulled her engine out. pretty good write up.

i pulled mine out with a cherry picker, transmission seperate (should have pulled them together) through the top. basically just unhook everything that will bind on it lol. pretty easy task considering your taking out an engine.

When I installed the LT's on my '03, I lifted the motor. Easiest way to do it. Didn't use a picker, don't ask how I did it, hehe. Still a big pain in the ass installing LT's on our cars, too damn tight of a fit. I luckily have small hands, lol.

I have always heard from the owner of the shop I work at that you should get some duct tape or masking tape and a sharpie and keep them organized and you should be okay...

Yeh that's a good idea to.
Is there anything else other than the harness? Would I have to take my water pump off or no?

i did mine without dropping the k-member. i just jacked up the motor until it contacted the body and weaseled them in. not too bad, just time consuming

i agree, i did the same thing. it takes like 4 hours for each header and you better get a friend to help you cause its almost impossible to do it alone.

good luck!
