Yep, and there is always somebody faster. As I have said before, this kit was designed for the DD driver customer, with LOTS of options to go to a bigger blower, like a TVS 1900 or 2300. One other really great feature of the kit, is that the intake runners and the center section that houses the inter cooler are cast and machined as 3 separate pieces. If you ever want to swap the kit the a 3V or 4V or non-pi headed motor or even onto a 5.4L just buy the appropriate runners and the blower becomes portable, and will fit a wide variety of cars. No need to spend another 5-7K on a new kit for your next car. Besides, most dealerships hate taking trade ins that have after market stuff on them. We also know the limit of the 4.6L and not everybody here is ready for the 500 + kit.

The kit from Tork Tech using the Eaton blower may not be the powerhouse that some people want but thats not what its designed for. Its for people that want that extra power w/o breaking the bank(or bottem end). If your looking for high end power, go with a KB or Twin Turbos that cost twice as much. Just my opinion but i think its perfect for what it is. By the way, hello everybody. Im new here.

Well said Dracer35. You hit the nail right on the head. We are not sitting still BTW. With some better internals in the 03 it is now running around town at 403 rwhp by 400 torque. That is still with a 3.3 upper. I am waiting for a new 2.8 upper that should deliver an extra 4-5 pounds of boost and put down about 440-450. Then we will go a larger lower and see what we can do there. Since the heads are stock, we are somewhat boost limited. More back pressure, more boost, but we shall see.
I am scheduled to have the pulleys on Monday. One a 3.03 and one 2.8. Ron

Just wanted to post the test results. Going from a 3.3 upper to a 3.1 it made 12.7 pounds of boost and put down 440 rwhp and 440 rwt. With a 2.8 upper it went to about 16 pounds of boost and hit 465 rwhp at 4800 rpm before the valves went into float. The springs could not handle the boost. Those are being changed out this week, and I should have those results by Saturday.

Wow people are seriously using these Eatons? I would have thought the time / custom fabrication involved would cost more.

Thought you guys might like some info on performance at the track...on street tires, limited traction in first and second, on pump gas, 8 pounds of boost. The 2003 GT ran against a supercharged 2006 GTO, slicks and traction devices. The 2003 GT went 13.09 at 107.79 while the 2006 GTO ran a 12.46 at 107.46 (slower MPH). 60 foot on the GTO was a 1.82 while the GT could only muster a 2.21. The next step is some drag radials. We figure with some better traction a 12.40 is in reach.

Another update....on pump gas, 12 pounds of boost, on a well built engine with good heads, headers, cams and exhaust on a Dynojet dyno, a customer in New Jersey just reported 495 rwhp and 500 rwt @ 6800 rpm. 2.8 upper and a 7 inch lower. Next week he is adding another 5 pounds of boost by going to a 9 inch lower, but it will need 60 pound injectors. The goal 550 rwhp.
