The Vogtlands are a pretty even 1.6" drop, mine is closer to 2" without the isolators. The Tokico HP's are basically what came on my car stock, and they were horrible compared to the Bilsteins. The Koni STR.T's are a great step up for just a tad more money, like $35 more, but they're a lot better than the Tokicos. Well worth the extra cash.

I am either going to take my isos out and call it a day or save for H&R's with different shocks and struts and CC plates. I need both right now. Why not do the right spring, right?

Not sure why used gears get so much hate, I had used ford explorer 3.73s and never had a problem with whine. You just need to install them correctly.
