yeah i see what you mean. they have kind of a raspy sound which im not too much of a fan of. but what kinda mags do you have? are they the original mags or the magnapacks

if you have the regular mags then you can just get the offset in and off set out. i had the regular mags and just welded in some macs and they fit good and sound bitchin with my bassani catted x

they are the packs...Im thinkin I can go with an offset in/out beacuse with the pacs the muffler itself is angled so the offset would make up for that and everything thould line up pretty close

yeah you should be fine with the offset in and out. you can even look on like ebay or other forums for used ones for cheap thats what i did and got a pair for 75
