Id get a tuner if you dont have one yet. That way you can correct your speedo and odo.
If youre stuck on the tb,plenum, and intake though thats not a bad deal. But for the price personally id spend a little more and get the accufab combo, and some form of intake. If youre gonna spend 389 as it is another 50-70 total shouldnt hurt for better product(s). Or if you wanna save go with a pp, trickflow, etc combo and some form of intake. Thats just my opinion though. |

In my opinion if you drive your car with any regularity, tuner to fix speedo and ghost miles. If you dont mind having your speedo be off, +1 to what AJM said.

If you are getting FRPP gears then why get motive bearing kit? Get the FRPP bearing kit. Same as Ratech.

Make sure you get the speed cal. Dont want invisible miles on the car if you ever have to let it go.

Tuner (it will benefit, and help your sound), FLSFC, and good tires.. if you don't already have them..
And with the gears make sure you get new axle bearings and seals... for $20 it's worth it.. don't forget the purple stuff.

OP
You will probably feel more of a difference with the tuner instead of the TB, plenum, ect. I know the tuner and tune I got from AM really woke up the throttle response, idled better, ect.

I'd say sticky tires (and wider rear wheels too) are the best mod after gears, as you will need the added traction.

WIth the BAMA tunes, is it true if you buy the tuner they will only give you a tune for the other parts you bought from them?

Maybe before you spend money on better tires, get lower control arms, and if you feel up to it, get uppers too. Suspension > bolt ons, its no fun when you dont have traction.
