Tuning in a water/alchy kit at home
Right now have 2 tunes one is 638 @15* total timing and is straight 93. The other 665@20* of total timing with a 1QT can of Torco race gas concentrate, and 63 octane. The torco tune feels so much better..
I have a AIS stage 2 competition trunk mount Methanol/water injection kit. It has the tri nozzle set up with one right before the compressor. The other 2 are right before the TB and IAT sensor. One can be used here but 2 can atomize better more particles and surface area to cool the air more efficiently. I'm tempted to hook up the system and run the torco tune since both add octane and require timing to see full benefit. Plus since it's a progressive controller with an onset boost level and a full boost level up to 70 psi it's super adjustable. Say you only see 23 psi you could set it @ 18 psi onset and 70 full on and see very little fluid injected. Or say you set the onset a 5 psi and the full on at 15. You'll see the full amount quickly. The idea is to have a jet that's a little to big and adjust it where you need it. The tuner said my fuel pump duty cycle is about 80%. the last time I tuned. Can I do this with out going back to the tuner perhaps? Then later if I get a wide bad o2 I can run my smaller SC pulley and if the fuel air stays between 10.5 and 12 flat I'll run it on the exiting tune?

I would run pure methanol if your going to run the race tune and at least have it checked on a dyno. The afr can be watched very closely without worrying about driving imo

I just thought since the methanol is adding about the same octane rating it would be ok.
