diablo tuner

how do I tell if a predator tuner is locked or how many more tunes it has left? found a sweet deal on craigslist, and need to know when I go look at it.

Have the guy power it on, either through a power cord or plugging it into the car, and under one of the menu's it will show you if it is married to a vehicle or not. If it is he has to re-install his stock tune back to his vehicle to unlock the Predator OR you would have to call Diablosport and pay them $150 to unlock it for you.

Ok. he has tuned it to his car. But only put one tune on it. would it be married? I thought they had like 3 tunes. He only wants $25 lol.

If it is still tuned, or locked, to his car it will do you no good unless you pay Diablosport the $150 to unlock it for you. But that is how I got mine too, I only paid like $30 for it and then paid to have it unlocked. At $175 or $180 that is still one hell of a deal on one of those. Also when Diablo unlocks it for you it resets it to where you have five time you can lock and unlock it to different vehicles (it will change yours as many times as you want once it's married to it) But unless you put the factory tune back in his car it will be locked.
