410's and a kenne bell
i currently have 410's and recently bought a used Kenne Bell, should i just put my stock gears back in?I think 410's are goin to be a to much.I would like to hear from some of you guys that may be runnin 410's and a kenne bell. I know with the 410's i will be overspinning the Kb way before i hit redline and don't want to destoy it.

Why not just try the 4.10s and see how you like them. It's kinda pointless to do all the work putting stock gears in and then deciding you want to step back up to 3.73s or something.
And I don't see you having problems with overspinning the KB unless you're doing top speed runs. If you're racing you're going to shift at 5600-5800 no matter what gears you have. The only difference is you'll be revving a little higher in 4th gear.

you wont be over spinning it...6k rpm is 6k rpm...regardless of how fast you get there

This doesn't make sense. The KB will only spin as much as your engine does. You could have 2.73s in your car and the blower will spin just as much at redline as it would if you had 4.56s

keep supercharger rpm(drive ratio x engine rpm =supercharger rpm)to max 18000rpm for example 3.27 X 5500= 17985rpm's so if this is the case then with my 410's i will hit the 18000max rpm's at 4390 rpm's |

+1 on drive ratio of the supercharger. your rear end gears have nothing to do with how fast the supercharger is spinning. i know my procharger's drive ratio is 4.10 which is also coincidentally a common rear end gear ratio.

i know it sounds crazy but thats what it said and its for the rear end not the drive ratio of charger.it has a list of the different gear ratio's and rpm's =max charger rpm's.like you said the rpm's if there at 6 there at 6 and the sc rpm's doesnt change and later in the explanation of the gears it says that 373's are the best for 1/4.so oh well i'm not worring about the max rpm cause that doesnt seem right.

just try the gears and see if you like them, personally I think they are too steep for a pd car with stock dia. tires

I wouldn't go with a higher gear other than 3.73s unless there are some good suspension mods, and you have something stickier than a 555r.

Can the 4.10's. My 3.90's were even too much when I had the KB. The KB will give you plenty of TQ. I would go 3.73 or 3.55 but go ahead and try the 4.10 at least, everyone has there own opinion

i think i know what they mean by overspin the blower. they are probably talking about the 1/4 mile, and with the blower and 4.10s, you'll be at the top of 4th and if you don't shift to 5th you'll overspin it (and go past your redline). just a thought.

410's you will be all over the place in first 2 gears (if you have good tires); hell i was with 3.73s at that boost level (but had stock suspension at the time).

A buddy of mine has a 94 camaro with a 383 stroker and a paxton charger on it built auto trans and 4:10s in the rear. He says that he is just spinning the tires like nobodies business.... but then again he has no tread. He was thing about going to 3:73s because he would just wind that thing up so quick and he kept complaining that he wasnt getting good traction and he lost alot of his top end speed. Meaning he isnt going to 160+ anymore... I dont run with him he is one of the stupid people that just has no respect for others on the road.
