99 gt


i have a 99 gt stock motor with p1 procharger it has a diablo chip in it is there a way i can use sct and still tune it if so how should i tune it

Are you wanting to get it dyno tuned or email tuned?

You can take that chip out of there to return the car to stock and then tune it with an SCT handheld just like you would normally.

im useing a dyno tune i can just take out the diablo chip and put back a sct in there and then tune that correct??

Yes. Toss the chip, or set it up on CL.

Take the chip out, THEN hook up the SCT.

Chips overwrite everything. So tuning with sct with a chip would do nothing as people mentioned.

Also why do you want to tune it if you already have a chip (tuned)? Just seems like a lot of money to waste one tuning device (chips can be reburnt), on a 300+ tuner? my .02.

If your gonna have it dyno tuned, Id bring the car to the shop and let them remove the old chip. You need some sort of tune to drive the car to the shop.
