Bullitt shocks/struts
Been searching and can't find them anywhere except with the kit. Anyone know where I can get them?

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately they have different part numbers. The Mach is set up for drag and the Bullitt is set up for street. I guess its off to the dealer tomorrow.

Apparently the shocks for one. Sway bar is different also, or at least the Bullit kit comes with one. I think the springs are the same with the Bullitt and Mach, at least the spring rates are. The bullit has C-springs which I have, and I wanted the shocks to match because my stockers don't work well with c-spring rate.

The fronts measured the same as the Mach 1, but the Bullitt rear shocks are stiffer than the Mach. The Mach 1 rides noticeably softer than the Bullitt, even though they have the same spring rates. The swaybars are larger on the Bullitt also, but still kind of wimpy. I swapped to a 30mm front from a 98 GT and the 28mm rear from a 95 Cobra.
I have found the struts by themselves, but unfortunately, it's cheaper to buy the entire kit than just the shocks and struts nowadays. |

The FRPP "C" springs are very aggressive compared to most aftermarket springs. They are also linear, so there's no comfort zone like the Eibach's progressive rate springs.

What would be a comparable shock that would go with the c-springs?

The Tokico Blues are almost the same as the Bullitt shocks and struts. If you want to spend just a few more dollars and get a much better shock, go with the Koni STR.T's from Jegs. Better than the Tokicos and the stock Bullitts, and only $350ish.
