Steeda Underdrive Pulleys

I am thinking about buying some Steeda Underdrive Pulleys and wanted to get some feedback from people that have them. Are they worth the $200 price tag and how would you rate the installation difficulty? Also, I read that if you plan on supercharging down the road that these pulleys wouldn't be compatible and you would have to put the old ones back on.

Well... if your willing to shell out $200 go for it. I wouldn't think they are worth it, but they are a bolt on and will add up eventually. Try looking for a set of used ones if you can find a set. And that is true, as these pulleys are designed to slow down accessories which would cause the s/c to not push as much psi.

Easy install but you want to make sure you either get an ARP crank bolt or a new bolt from Ford. They send a bolt in the kit only to get the damper started.

And what you read about supercharging in true. I don't care since I plan on staying N/A with a shot of nitrous in the future.

I thought about that but the more I read the more I wasn't sold on the benefit. Be carefull with the bolts if you do it. I personnaly would rather spend the money elsewhere.

As far as under-drive pulleys go, Steeda is your best bet. There are some out there that can cause problems, but from what I have seen, Steeda is good.

Well after consideration I have decided to skip the under drive pulleys and put my money towards new headers, x pipe and cat back exhaust. The main factor was that I plan on supercharging down the road and do not want to replace the steeda pulleys again. Thanks 4 all the advice guys.

I have the Steedas, but bought them used from a friend who went supercharged, and didn't need them anymore. I wouldn't have bought them brand new, because I don't think the slight gain is worth the cost, but used for $100 or so, they start to be a better deal.
