Bama/American Muscle custom tune

How long does it take to get an email tune from Bama/AM? I ordered a new throttle body and plenum from them and got the parts really quick, but im still waiting on the custom tune. It has been 2 weeks. I was just wondering how long on average it takes to get one.

^ hey your from EL PASO too haha where do you go drag racing in clint....they state like 3 days on the site i think i would contact them again and see whats going on

I ordered one for my lts and prochamber Thursday they guy said I should have it today.. Fingers crossed

Just got my tune today. Loaded it a lil bt ago, and the rpms r sticking at 1300 when idling down(clutch pushed in) for like a second.

I orderd a new tune since I installed mac lts and prochamber. Which is the 93 octane race tune. Idle rpms r set at 900, what can I do about the sticking rpms? It's not terrible but it's aggravating

My .02 Put the car on the Dyno and get away from the Mail Order tune...

They probably didnt send you a tune since you dont need a tune with a tb and plenum. They will only send you a tune if they feel your new mods need one

I put another order in today we'll see what happends. mmmm yeah that would aggravate me too. I don't know maybe it has do with o2 sensors being moved down cuz of the longtubes. You might want to call them back and see what they have to say about it. My old tune I got from AM right before they had bama start writing there tunes came with only 1 custom tune. I hope this bama tune is worth the trouble.

Ur right i should call them. The first tune I got from them was great but that was before Bama came into the picture.

OP- this is why you did not recieve a new tune "Any time you make a new modification that requires a re-tune" You dont need a RE-TUNE with a tb and plenum

damn i hope thats not the case cuz the only reason i bought one from them is cuz of the free tunes for life.

If you do other things that will need a new tune then they will get you one. but a tb and plenum does not require one and you wont see any gains from your current tune to this tune

I had to have my idle adjusted when I put on my accufab tb and plenum and if I would have had a tuner I could have adjusted the idle myself instead of paying a shop to do it. A tuner is good to have in general watever mods u have or plan on having.

Still need to fix my stickin rpms tho.. Anyone have any thought on y I'm havin this issue?

good luck with them. had my Brenspeed tune/tuner in 2 days.
