Need exhaust help! Loudmouth 2 SLP

Hey guys new to the forum, and building my first Mustang. I recently got a FREE SLP exhaust from a buddy and we threw it on my car and intend to fab. some exhaust pipes out to the side of the car in front of the rear wheels. Right now we threw the exhaust on after my x-pipe and stopped right after the mufflers. (so there are no tips currently out the back). My main concern is how friggin loud it is now. When we get the actual last 2 feet of pipes fabricated to come out the side will that quiet it down alot? Cause i took it around the block with it stopping after the muffler, and it is pretty much undriveable. Anyone with some knowledge on this care to help a newbie out?
Thanks in advance! Im just hoping to figure out if im gunna want to get a different exhaust or not.

It doesn't matter where you run the pipes, running catless with any resonater type exhaust is going to be obnoxious.

^.

That extra 2ft of pipe might make a difference but I doubt itll be a whole lot if it does.

i ran without tailpipes for a time myself. it was obnoxious loud dumping at the axle, but after i put the tailpipes on it got real quiet in the cabin... everything behind my car needed earplugs tho!

The exhaust won't actually get much quieter, but it'll seem a lot quieter in the cabin since it won't be dumping out right underneath you.
