stack racing 75mm tb info/pics

Seems like theres been a fair amount of questions about the stack racing parts the last week or so. I ordered the 75mm tb and got it in today so I figured id post up some pics and a bit of info. Pics are from cellphone so work with me for now. I can get some more tomorrow with the real camera.

Overall quality wasnt really that impressive/something that stuck out to me. Looked like nothing more than a simple tb. They claim its polished but it looked just like a dull silver to me. Id say its between the looks of the accufab and factory one. My accufab plenum that has never been cleaned off and been under the hood for about a year now had more shine to it than this thing. Thats no big deal to me bc I dont care about how it looks under the hood but I figured id throw it out there bc im sure its a factor for some of you.

Next...The hole for the tb cable is too small. If you look at the tb cable end youll notice its stepped. The first half is smaller than the 2nd half. Stack was smart enough to make both holes for the cable end the same size when the outer one should be larger. Simple fix, took about 30 seconds....Take a drill and a 1/4 bit, stick it into the first hole only. Run it real slow and wiggle it around a bit to wallow the hole out. Do this a little bit a time until the cable end fits and problem solved.

Some of you ask if your intake will fit on the TB. With the factory tb the 3" coupler for my ic pipe fit pretty loose and wouldnt slide on very far...never did happen but it looked like the coupler could have easily blown off. With the stack tb Its a pretty tight fit to get the coupler on, I had to stretch it a *slight* amount and use a little lube, so in my case id say the size/fitment for the intake is perfect. If you look close enough in the 2nd pic you can see how much tighter the clamp on the left is compared to the one on the right based on the amount of threads showing due to the slightly larger diameter of the tb.

Overall for the price im pretty happy with it. Seemed to help out with throttle response quite a bit. If theres anything I didnt cover that someone has a question about just let me know. I think I pretty much covered all the basic stuff though.

Thanks...lol I used the KILLER pantech cell phone for those. I did it after work so was a bit too dirty to be playing with the camera.

Having to make the hole bigger was no big deal but kinda disappointing and not something I really felt like screwing with but ehhh whatever. I was gonna ask you where you got your roush and get it but I needed a couple other things so I just made an all in one order.

Thanks. If I were in your position id buy it. If it wernt for having the accufab plenum already I prolly would have gotten the stack plenum as well.

I also just got the stack racing 70mm throttle body and plenum. They seem like a good piece. The plenum kinda looks like and accufab one. The only thing I didn't like was the inside of the plenum was just a little too rough for me. I was thinkin about polishing it up with a dremel. I don't know if it will give me anymore hp or not but it won't hurt to find out.
