These cars suck !!!!!!
Ok now you are in here. How the hell do you get these things to hook up? I can't put any power down in 1st or 2nd gear.I am only at 450 rwhp, looking for 650 or so on my new build. But I am second guessing this if it is use less at this level. I have lca adj. uppers, I tried lowering it so it has a little stiffer spring in the rear.( I was thinking it was shocking the tires with the softer spring). I don't want to run my drag radials all the time (they suck in the rain). I have a 5 speed if anyone has a great combo please lets hear it.

Thanks but i'm not sure that the slicks would be any better in the rain.
![]() But really is there anyway to get these cars to hook up? |

suspension...and a tire
if you have full suspension you should be able to hook decently with a mild tire

Why are you drag racing in the rain?
Take the slicks off when your done racing.

That's probably his problem. He says he can't keep traction. Must be because he is going WOT when its raining.

Get slicks or MT ET Streets, when your done racing, swap to street tires. Or run MT ET Streets all the time....or try differant launching methods

No not drag racing in the rain.(you are too funny) Just every day driving on the street when I go to get on the gas I want to feel the car pull, not just spin. It does not pull hard until 3rd and then I want to let off. (I mostly just jump on it to the speed limit or so). I do not drag race on the street. But it sucks to have to pedal it also.I want to know if shocks and struts will help alot or just a little? I do have sub frames.

If you get out and push it'll solve all of your traction issues
![]() But seriously nice tires will hook pretty damn well at the track.

Drag radials dont like cold weather man. Their like plastic, they need to be heated up. And I know its still chilly in Vermont. So either you could do a brakestand before you go out. Or buy a good set of tires. Like the Nitto NT555's will probally hook up pretty good for you.

dude, you are on simple lil street tires and 17's or 18's with over 450rwhp? You are going to have to pedal it on the street, im sorry! I know the feeling but are you going to do a burnout every time before leaving from a stop?

your not going to get a regulat street radial to hook with that kind of power sorry to tell you so no matter what you throw at it as far as suspension, the tires are still going to spin since they are not designed for that.

If you pedal 1st then slowly shift to 2nd roll into the gas it will break traction as soon as the boost comes on (like 3800 rpms ). what the hell fun is that?

I love my car don't get me wrong but I am wondering if this is as good as it gets. Did any notice a big improvement on the street with shocks and struts. I am not against throwing money at it if it works.
