how much would you spend?????
Im looking at a 99 mustang gt supercharged with a built motor, its an s-trim pushing 14 psi. It has manley rods and pistons. it has 120k on the clock, but 10k on the new setup. My question is what would you offer the guy? Also what would you look for as far as problems? Thanks all

it has 403 rwhp, so he says. He also said it has a lentech auto with 2800 stall converter. dont have any pics, as of yet but what should I be looking at as far as inspecting it, this will be my 4th new edge so I know alot but my first supercharged car.

drivability would be the first thing i was interested in. Then id look for hints that the motor has been pulled and forged. Maybe a painted block? etc. Receipts would be nice. Dyno sheets? But just overall driving it will tell you alot about the tune and overall setup prolly

and 14 psi on a built motor and he is at 400rwhp? Thats not too good. Cams? heads? or is all that still stock too?

yea he said the heads are stock and its a v1 thats not intercooled. Also compression is 8.5, so Im thinking thats why it has a lower hp number.

^+1 If you like autos. but for me I'd offer him my 00 v6 5spd as a even up trade cause I hate autos. That's just the kid in me that has never owned a auto talkn though, so you may not want to listen to me

I mean if you look at it from a banks (ie loan) perspective the cars only going to be worth whatever a 99 gt with x(I forgot what you said) amount of miles on it, they don't give a shit about the go fast stuff. They'll just stare at you and say "it's got a what? A supermojiger? Well blue book says it's only worth xxxx." trust me been there done that!!! All of that

Woh woh hold on guys, I like this fourm And the last thing I want to do is piss someone off! First off that whole 1st paragraph was just me messen around I like all cars regardless of the make model engine or trans. I just preffer V8, manuals, and mustangs. 2nd I have 3 mustangs; a 1970 Mach 1 me and my dad restored when I was 14, a 00 v6 that I got when I turnd 16( my daily driver) and lastly my 04 procharged GT that I got last summer, that's also in my sig. So again sorry if i made anyone mad my real comment was about the bank. I went through all of that when I got my 04.
