Advice Please

so i have a 99 gt with about 60 thou on body and i put a 281 from a thunderbird pretty sure its a 96 the motor has about 70 thousand on motor and i have like 10 pounds of boost to it the motor is smaller and i dont have the p heads but ever thing else is good on the car lyntech trany fuel system everthing... i have to drive from california to indiana and im kinda worried that the motor is not gona hold on that far of a drive as long as i keep my foot out of the boost hard on the way home should my car make it all the way there???? any advise helps

If the S/C is properly set up and tuned, you should not see constant boost while cruising at partial throttle, just like if the S/C was not even there.

As far as making the trip, I'd be more worried about the transplanted engine and related components and the fuel/tune if it has not been proven out yet.

Are you looking to "Buy" this car and then drive it back?
