Bad Clicking Noise When Accelerating and Stopping. HELP!

I hit a rock a few hours ago and didnt think anything of it. Got back in the car to go to the store and I noticed everytime i stop or accelerate at low speeds it makes a horrible clicking noise in the rear. anybody had this problem before? I am thinking its the U-joints or control arms, but want some clarity. thanks

hit a rock? as in a boulder? softball size or maybe a lil bigger?

probably baseball size. was dark out and couldnt see it till it was right infront of me

you'll just have to crawl under there when you get a chance and see if you can tell where you think it might have hit. Just look it over and see if you can find any evidence.

If you can't figure it out...Make sure someone hasn't put a zip tie on your driveshaft.

I've been wanting to get someone with that, but I never have time or am in an area where it'll look like I'm putting on a bomb or something.

did you hit the exhaust by any chance? you may have an exhaust leak
