Throwing a P1152 Code...

"P1152 - Lack of H02S21 SWITCH - SENSOR INDICATES RICH"

I have searched and such just could not find anything really solid on it...Some people say it has to do with the fuel pump...Some say it is becuase with the longtubes it takes longer for the 02's to heat up...Some say my 02's are just going bad...So I was wanting your guy's opinion...

I had Tim ship me a tune and other then that the car is running great with the mongoose kit...The fuel pressure is solid...At idle it is great and WOT it is good as well...I have been watching the fuel pressure closely...

I am getting on a dyno next week to double check the A/F...

Other then the code the car is running great...

That is the only code I am throwing right now...So should I just go replace the 02 sensor and then reset the computer?

Thanks
Chris

I'd run it as-is until you get it dyno tuned and see if it still throws a code.

I would try a reset right now and see if it clears the code. And if not I would just wait until you get it on a dyno.

I had this exact code pop up one time after I turned my EGR valve off with the Diablo, but did not actually block the EGR off. I turned it back on and the code went away. Sure this doesn't help, but maybe some connection can be made.

The only thing that has me stumped is this is for the front driver side 02...Not the rear...

Some people say they have the same issue with longtubes becuase the 02 sensors are heated and they dont get warm enough to actually read correctly...

I had Tim @ MPH send me a chip that was made for my set-up and I installed that...Im going to try and get it dynoed this week...

I tried resetting it yesterday...

Did not work...

I am taking it to a friend this afternoon so he can look at the fuel maps and such to see what is going on with the damn thing...

This is the only thing holding my car up...

I am thinking it is going to be a vacuum leak fo some reason...

Okay I feel really dumb now...

Evidently when the chip was put in only the silicone stuff was scraped off...We took the PCM out and sanded the connectors till they were copper...Started the car up and datalogged it and the car is running better then it ever has...

No codes or anything...

Chris
